SCOOP 2010 Main Event at Poker Stars
16.05.2010 -The Spring Championship of Online Poker, hosted by PokerStars, has been a success both for the poker room and for many poker players. The three winners of the 2009 event pocketed more than $1.5 million in earnings and this year’s tournament is expected to give away even bigger prizes.
With more than thirty events already passed, the SCOOP 2010 is now in its final stage. The Main Event will span over two days and offers players three buy-in levels. If entries to this point are any indication, players will be turning out in droves on May 16th at 5:00 ET to try their luck at the low ($109), medium ($1,050) or high ($10,300) buy in version of the tournament – if not all three.
In 2009 Team PokerStars Pro Jude ‘j.thaddeus’ Ainsworth was just a few bucks shy of instant millionaire status after banking $963,338 for his win in the high buy in version.
