Full Tilt Poker and Virgin Racing Team Up for Pole Position
13.05.2010 -Formula 1 star team Virgin Racing and leading online poker room Full Tilt Poker have entered a sponsorship deal. Richard Branson’s Virgin Group and online poker giant FTP have announced a partnership to claim pole position in both F1 and online poker.
Full Tilt Poker expressed an interest in sponsoring Virgin Racing ever since the team was launched on 15 December 2009. Having finally concluded the deal, the poker site will now enjoy significant branding of its logo on the team’s VR-01 car, driver’s and team apparel, as well as other elements of the team’s on and off track environment.
Commenting on the new deal, Team Full Tilt’s Chris Ferguson said: “With two leaders in their respective fields coming together, this is sure to be a groundbreaking partnership on the global canvas, providing yet another level of excitement for all fans. We are very excited to be associated with such a stellar brand as Virgin Racing and we look forward to launching this partnership in Spain.”
At the upcoming Grand Prix Monte Carlo the Full Tilt Poker logo will be sported by drivers Timo Glock and Lucas di Grassi, and Virgin Racing’s Chief Executive Officer Graeme Lowdon, couldn’t be happier with the arrangement.
