Coaching Offer Tempts Isildur1 to Become Poker Instructor
26.05.2010 -Poker sensation Isildur1 was offered $250,000 to teach players on DragTheBar.com. The contract includes joining the coaching team of the company and protects his anonymity should he chooses to remain anonymous.
According to company’s CEO Hunter Bick, attempts to reach the poker star through other channels have been in vain. “We have no other way of reaching Isildur1 other than making a public offer,” he said. In April everyone thought Isildur1 will come out of his shadow when he confirmed participation at the PartyPoker’s Big Game IV, however, he canceled in the last minute and didn’t show up.
Now all he has to do to confirm the offer is transfer $5 to BeachJustice on Full Tilt and let DragTheBag people know by forwarding the transfer-receipt email. After that each party will sign a non-disclosure agreement.
Nobody had heard of Isildur1 before November 2009 when he showed up on Full Tilt Poker and only within weeks made more than $1 million in earnings. He was playing poker pros like Tom “Durrrr” Dwan, Phil Ivey, Patrik Antonius and Phil Galfond and took home $5.5 million in two weeks, a streak widely believed to be the most lucrative in the history of online poker.
By the beginning of this year Isildur1 was the only player to have won and lost a million-dollar pot online. After losing $1.4 million to Antonius, he won $1.1 million from the legendary Phil Ivey, and is continuing his gaming spree playing for millions of dollars every day.
